Senior Infrastructure Services Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking an Infrastructure Support professional to help maintain the stability, performance, and reliability of critical technology services. The role supports incident, problem, and change management activities while contributing to continuous improvement across infrastructure operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day‑to‑day infrastructure support, including incident diagnosis, issue resolution, and timely escalation to ensure service stability and availability.
Support problem management activities, including root cause analysis and implementation of permanent corrective actions.
Assist with change management by logging, coordinating, and supporting infrastructure changes, including post‑implementation verification checks.
Contribute to infrastructure operations covering backup, recovery, disaster recovery planning, testing, and operational readiness.
Support capacity planning, performance monitoring, patching, and upgrades to maintain reliable and resilient infrastructure services.
Assist with service delivery governance, compliance controls, and adherence to operational standards and regulatory requirements.
Work collaboratively with vendors, partners, and third‑party suppliers to support service delivery, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and support the development of infrastructure standards, guidelines, and best practices.
What do I need?
Relevant IT Mainframe industry experience, with at least 3 years in a highly technical role.
Experience working in complex IT infrastructure environments, including storage management, operational management, configuration, and maintenance.
Advanced knowledge of Mainframe Storage Management, with hands‑on experience managing IBM DS8000, TS7700, and Brocade SAN technologies.
Advanced knowledge of GDPS, data replication, and disaster recovery, including experience with complex implementation and recovery scenarios.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and consultative skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
