Senior Infrastructure Ops Developer
To attain best practices in automated deployment, monitoring and alerting for its production systems, X2O Media is looking for a security-conscious professional (both software and infrastructure) with solid software development skills.
Due to the diverse nature of the technologies used in our systems, the ideal candidate will possess boundless curiosity, an openness to work with any required technology and languages and strong analytical skills and self-learning capabilities along with the ability to discuss technical matters in both French and English.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the team leader, InfraOps, the candidate will be required to:
In conjunction with the Infra Architect, design and develop a universal, cross-environment (Cloud and on-premise) software deployment and configuration system making use of discovery services and containers, in order to extend X2O’s automation practices to any hosting environment
Design and develop automated deployment processes targeting Azure cloud environments
Design and develop support tools and software bridges connecting the various X2O environments
Support the InfraOps team with regards to software packaging and telemetry
Provide expertise to the InfraOps team with regards to software security
Extend and maintain the internal infrastructure platform
Write professional-grade technical documentation in in both French and English
Provide support in solving technical issues and incidents in cloud services
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or computer science (or equivalent).
Proven experience in automated configuration and deployment
Strong knowledge of C#, .NET and PowerShell
Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and configuration management platforms (Ansible, Saltstack)
Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure
Strong knowledge of software containers and container security scanning
Experience in Linux server administration
Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
Experience with Gitlab pipelines and runners considered a plus
Experience with Terraform and Packer considered a plus
Experience Kubernetes custom Operators considered a plus
Experience with AI and MLOps considered a strong plus
