We are seeking a Senior Developer to join our team in Morocco. This role is a great fit for developers who enjoy variety in their day-to-day work, appreciate the stability and challenges of AS400 and DB2 systems, and want to collaborate with top-tier retail businesses in an international environment.
What you’ll do
Design, develop, and implement new features and customizations for client-specific requirements within the WMS platform.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and system anomalies reported by clients.
Perform unit testing to ensure quality and reliability of all new developments and fixes.
Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes, qualify their needs, and offer innovative solutions.
Participate in drafting detailed specifications for new functionalities or client customizations as needed.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing features, ensuring high system performance and client satisfaction.
What you’ll bring
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (DUT Informatique or equivalent)
Proficiency in AS400, SQL DB2, and CLP
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to document and present technical information clearly
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on active listening and understanding client needs
Analytical, organized, and attentive to detail, with the ability to synthesize complex information
Collaborative team player who adapts well to changing priorities
Ability to work effectively and remain resilient under pressure
Strong commitment to meeting deadlines and fulfilling client expectations
Readiness to participate in an on-call rotation.
The following would be a plus:
Previous experience in the logistics or supply chain industry and/or and understanding of logistics processes
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)
Working knowledge of COBOL
