The work location for this position is in our Lisle, IL office
What you will be doing in a typical week:
Applying your past experience to inform the product roadmap
Experimenting with new technologies that improve our software
Testing modern high-quality software - Create unit tests and perform functional testing of software to find bugs and confirm that delivered software meets specifications and quality requirements
Interactions with customers for demos and feedback sessions
Work closely with the team architect to research and deliver new functionality
Drive opportunities to increase efficiency and productivity through best practices

Oriented to Quality Assurance (QA)
Scripting skills used for test automation. Python, REXX
Experience with z/OS system and Job Control Language (JCL)
Knowledge of CI/CD automation software like Jenkins
ISTQB certificate or similar
Experience in software testing methodologies such as BDD and TDD
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
Experience mentoring, teaching, and developing less experienced team members
Complex problem-solving skills and deep expertise within the technical domain
Experience with Cyber Security and Compliance-related topics
Nice to have: Assembler (HLASM), C, Metal C programming language
Nice to have: Mainframe debugging skills using IPCS, VM Trace, XDC, etc.
Job Duties:
Ensuring the highest quality of data-centric and mission-critical security and compliance solutions on the Mainframe
Tests and processes automation and improvements
Experimenting with new technologies that improve the efficiency and Security of the company’s proprietary software products
Working collaboratively with the Agile team to write high-quality software
Actively participating and contributing in all Agile activities: Iteration planning, refinement, and sprint reviews. Volunteer for and commit to delivering stories and tasks within the sprint.
Reviewing software engineering artifacts such as functional specifications, design specifications, code, unit tests, system test plans, and feature test plans, and ensuring architectural integrity and high quality
Develop a greater understanding of multiple of the company’s Mainframe products and offerings to enable smoother cross-product integration
Interacting with our customers for support issues, demonstrations, and feedback sessions
Driving opportunities to increase efficiency, security, and product quality through best practices
Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science and 5+ years of related experience
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required

Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $91,000 - $146,000
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
