WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Manager, Genesis Parts Planning & Analysis is responsible for supporting the parts operational activities for the Genesis brand by managing the deployment and sustainment of various programs that improve parts operations, support vehicle parts sales and After-Sales for Genesis. This role provides a broad range of reports, data & analysis to communicate KPI performance results and program status.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Act as the primary liaison between parts suppliers, and other business units as it relates to Parts Orders, Parts Supply, Logistics, and Distribution Centers to improve operations, and resolve issues.
Monitor parts suppliers, such as Mobis Parts America (MPA), and provide recommendations when needed.
Manage parts readiness for New Vehicle Model activities through launch.
Lead part-related activities to support Recall or Service Campaigns providing regular status updates to stakeholders.
Develop operational improvement recommendations for dealer parts operations and parts sales.
Manage the Dealer Parts Retail Inventory Management (RIM) program and effectively evaluate, develop and implement strategies for continuous program enhancements.Collaborate with the Parts Pricing team to formulate strategies and develop forecasts for Parts and Accessories pricing to support GMNA Parts Sales goals and profit objectives.
Collaborate with the Parts Sales, Parts Accessories, and other business units to increase parts sales, and calculate the parts profit margin impact on parts promotions.
Work with the Retail Experience department to lead part-related activities to support efforts to improve the Genesis owner experience, IQS, VDS, CSI and repurchase loyalty.
Develop Quick Reference Guides (QRGs) and other necessary documentation to support parts operations, parts pricing, and parts sales.
Enforce and recommend enhancements to Parts Policy and Procedures Manual.
Coordinate with Genesis Field Ops teams for retailer communications.
Maintain supplier agreements, change orders, purchase requests, purchase orders, and invoices.
Coordinate Genesis budget including annual development, and monthly tracking and reconciliation of expenses and recovery.
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
Must be a high school graduate.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Master’s degree a plus.
Six or more years of experience required preferably within the wholesale or retail automotive industry.
Automotive parts operational, parts supply or parts pricing experience preferred.
Knowledge of current automobile dealership operations.
High degree of automotive technical proficiency a plus.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent negotiation skills.
Extensive analytical and mathematical skills.
High degree of organizational and planning skills.
High degree of computer proficiency with advanced skills in the following software applications: Microsoft Office Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Experience with Tableau, and other BI reporting and analytical tools preferred.
Mainframe (AS/400).

Compensation Range: $86,800.00 - $124,000.00 annual base salary

OTHER DETAILS
Physical requirements: Normal office duties.
Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
Ability to travel overnight to support customer experience activities to regions, retailers, and events (up to 10-20%).
