Overview
You will help design, build, and modernize mission critical systems that power Deutsche Bank’s core business operations. You work hands on with enterprise mainframe platforms while partnering with business and technology teams to keep applications stable, secure, and evolving. You play a key role in strengthening reliability today while supporting long term modernization and migration initiatives. What You’ll Do
Design, develop, test, and maintain core mainframe applications that support critical business functions
Build and support both batch and online transaction processing to ensure reliable day to day operations
Analyze and resolve production issues, partnering closely with support teams to restore service quickly and safely
Enhance application performance and data integrity across enterprise databases and data stores
Support modernization and migration initiatives that evolve legacy systems toward future ready architectures
Collaborate with application owners, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver compliant and resilient solutions
Skills You’ll Need
Hands on experience developing and supporting applications on IBM z/OS environments
Strong proficiency with COBOL and enterprise batch and transaction processing
Experience working with mainframe databases and data structure
Ability to troubleshoot production issues and deliver clear, well documented solutions
Strong communication skills and comfort working in collaborative, cross functional team

Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $100,000 to $153,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
