Mainframe Network Programmer Remote Location

Job Description:

>> Design, develop, and support network-related applications and systems on IBM mainframe environments.

>> Strong expertise in mainframe programming languages, telecommunications protocols, and network management tools to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing connectivity across enterprise systems.

Requirements:

>> Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

>> 8+ years of experience in IBM mainframe programming with focus on network and communications subsystems.

>> Proficiency in programming languages: COBOL, Assembler, PLI, REXX, CLIST.

>> Strong knowledge of VTAM, TCPIP, NCP, SNA, and related protocols.

>> Experience with zOS, TSOISPF, JCL, SMPE and related system utilities.

>> Familiarity with network monitoring and debugging tools (e.g., NetView, Wireshark, OMEGAMON).
