Job Summary: Mainframe developer role focused on building, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise applications using COBOL and related mainframe technologies. The position involves application development, system maintenance, testing, debugging, documentation, and performance tuning while collaborating with cross functional teams to align technical solutions with business requirements across batch and online processing environments.

Key Responsibilities
Application Development Create | modify | and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL | Assembler | or other relevant languages.
System Maintenance Ensure efficient operation of central processing systems | handling updates and enhancements.
Testing and Debugging Perform unit testing | debugging | and troubleshooting for software applications.
Collaboration Work with business analysts | system engineers | and other developers to align mainframe solutions with business requirements.
Documentation Create and maintain technical specifications | user manuals | and support documentation.
Performance Tuning Optimize applications for speed and efficiency.
Concepts
