Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Experience coding and debugging Mainframe Platforms.
Strong hands-on knowledge of COBOL SQL coding, CICS, debugging and utilities.
JCL/PROC, VSAM, SYNCSORT and file-based interfaces.
CICS coding, performance/tuning/design concepts, debugging and utilities.
Strong Relational Database skills: DB2/ SQL and file-based interfaces.
Proficient with Xpediter, Intertest and other mainframe tools.
Strong knowledge of CA-Scheduler, and IBM utilities.
Knowledge of MQSeries coding in both the batch and CICS environments.
Knowledge of XML a plus.
Proficient using Microsoft Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint, VISIO.
