DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).
The impact you will have in this role:
As a member on the Cyber Resiliency Recovery Team, you will play a crucial supporting role in building, maintaining, and testing our organization’s recovery capabilities. You’ll work closely with senior team members to help ensure DTCC’s ability to recover from cyber disruptions, safeguard critical systems, and maintain trust across the financial sector. In addition, the Cyber Resiliency Recovery Engineer will be key to strengthening our cyber resilience through preparation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Your Primary Responsibilities
Assist in the development and regular update of cyber recovery runbooks and documentation
Support the coordination and execution of recovery exercises and simulations with IT and cybersecurity teams
Help monitor and track the completion of recovery drills, capturing lessons learned and improvement opportunities
Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to keep recovery plans current and aligned with regulatory standards
Participate in scenario analysis to identify potential risks and document recommended recovery actions
Contribute to maintaining effective communication channels within the Cyber Resiliency team and with external partners
Assist with data collection, reporting, and review of recovery testing outcomes and process enhancements
Proactively seek learning opportunities to develop technical and procedural knowledge related to cyber recovery

Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of related experience
Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience
Talents Needed for Success:
Basic understanding of key regulations and industry principles related to cyber recovery and resumption
Ability to follow high-level requirements and collaborate with senior team members to create and execute action plans
Clear written communication skills for documenting analysis, reporting findings, and recommending improvements
Foundational familiarity with private cloud, public cloud, and mainframe technologies, including concepts like virtualization, cloud infrastructure, and core networking
Keen interest in cyber resiliency, disaster recovery, and incident response, with a willingness to learn and grow technical expertise
Basic experience or coursework related to IT operations, security operations, data center fundamentals, or systems administration
Ability to work independently and effectively with peers, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure recovery plans align with current standards
Preference for a foundational familiarity with project management tools such as Jira or Microsoft Project, as well as creation of process and technical diagrams.
Proactive in seeking learning opportunities and keeping up to date with emerging recovery solutions and industry developments

About the Team
Enterprise Product & Platform Engineering transforms the way we deliver infrastructure to our business clients. A key construct of EP&PE will be the evolution of the IT Product Manager, who will partner with the Engineering organization, the Business Aligned Service Delivery organization, the DevSecOps organization as well as our operational support teams to ensure that this organization provides high quality, commercially attractive and timely solutions to support our business strategy.
