Job Description
Strong understanding of IBM z/OS operating system and its architecture.
Proficiency in COBOL (Common Business-Oriented Language) for application support
Knowledge of JCL (Job Control Language) for batch processing and job scheduling.
Knowledge of mainframe subsystems such as CICS (Customer Information Control System), DB2, IMS, and MQ.
Familiarity with REXX (Restructured Extended Executor) for scripting and automation.
Expertise in working with IBM DB2 databases, including SQL queries and performance tuning.
Understanding of VSAM (Virtual Storage Access Method) for file management.
Experience with mainframe monitoring tools (e.g., IBM OMEGAMON, CA SYSVIEW, or BMC MainView).
Ability to analyze system logs (e.g., SYSLOG) and resolve issues.
Skills in optimizing mainframe applications and databases for better performance.
5+ years of experience of working in an Application Managed Services engagement, should understands SLAs, Support Processes and Ticketing Tools.
2+ years of Experience in managing a Team and Service Level Managemen
