Role Overview

Your role and responsibilities

The Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing Maximo applications that support Federal client enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop robust Maximo-based software solutions tailored to Federal enterprise needs.

Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with engineers and analysts to ensure technical alignment.

Lead the development of algorithms, database structures, and system integration strategies.

Oversee development teams, ensuring software quality, risk mitigation, and adherence to project timelines.

Apply scientific analysis and modeling techniques to optimize system performance and meet user requirements within defined time and cost constraints.

Preferred Education

Master's Degree

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

Minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering and enterprise application development

Minimum of 5 years as a technical/functional resource for IBM Maximo EAM, including configuration and support of Maximo 9.x

Hands-on experience with Maximo tools such as Migration Manager, Workflow Designer, Application Designer, and Database Configuration

Minimum of 5 years of programming experience with Java and Python

Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal security clearance with the US government

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

5+ years of experience with cloud environments such as AWS or IBM Cloud

Background in software development planning, algorithm design, and database architecture

Experience with scientific modeling and system performance prediction

Proven ability to serve as a task lead or technical liaison

Experience working in federal agency environments

Familiarity with Federal enterprise architecture and compliance standards

Certified IBM Maximo Deployment Professional
